Psalm 72:11Īll kings will bow down to him and all nations will serve him. People from every nation will praise God with a loud voice, serving Him day and night, as God shelters them with His presence, comforting them, and providing for their needs. God and His people will be unified in their love for one another. People will gather from every nation on earth to praise God for the salvation He provides through Jesus, the Lamb of God, "who came to take away the sins of the world" (John 1:29). Having defeated the power of sin and death, Jesus will rule over all nations as King and Lord. God has a plan to establish a leader who embodies his love. Throughout history people have lived under the despotic rule of political leaders serving their own self interests to the detriment of the common man. Titus 3:4-6īut when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior. The old has passed away behold, the new has come. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. John 1:12īut to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. 2 Corinthians 5:21įor our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 1 Peter 1:3-5īlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Titus 2:11-14įor the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Isaiah 53:5-6īut he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Romans 8:28-30Īnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 3:16įor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 1:11-13īut to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. When we put our faith in Jesus, we are adopted into God’s family and participate in God’s plan of salvation. God is saving a people for Himself through the atonement of Jesus Christ. God is redeeming a people for Himself, to worship Him and glorify Him through faith and obedience.
